Before you inject

Read your syringe and follow your label.

Your prescription label is the source of truth. The video shows the motion; this section helps you slow down, check the markings, and avoid guessing before you inject.

Start with your label

  • Confirm your medication name.
  • Confirm your dose and timing.
  • Use the amount written for you — not someone else’s dose or an example online.

Then check the syringe

  • Insulin syringes are commonly marked in units.
  • Your label may reference units, mL, or mg because small liquid doses can be described different ways.
  • Do not convert between them on your own.
What if the syringe markings do not match what I expected?

Pause before injecting. Check the label again, then message Nimbus. If the label, syringe markings, or video seem to disagree, do not guess or “round” the dose.

How should I check the amount I drew up?

Take your time. Hold the syringe where you can see the markings clearly and check the amount at eye level. If the amount is hard to read, pause and message Nimbus before dosing.

Why does my vial look less full than expected?

Vials are often larger than the amount of liquid inside them. That does not automatically mean medication is missing. Your prescription label reflects the amount dispensed. If the vial is leaking, cloudy, discolored, frozen, damaged, or concerning, contact Nimbus before using it.

Pharmacy-rooted, patient-facing

Your medication, label, and supplies are prepared through a pharmacy fulfillment process, but this page is written for you — plain language, Nimbus support first, and no guessing with dose instructions.

Tracking, your way

Some members use the scale. Others notice energy, appetite, clothing fit, or feeling more in control around food. All of it counts.

Signs it’s working

The first signs can feel quiet.

Almost everyone asks how they’ll know the medication is working. It is not always dramatic — and it does not have to be.

Less food noiseFeeling full soonerSmaller portions feeling like enoughMore control around cravingsSleep or energy starting to feel differentMore control in restaurants or social situations

Something you may notice: Cravings for sugar, alcohol, or highly processed foods may feel quieter. The research on GLP-1s and reward-driven cravings is growing, but everyone’s experience is different — so treat this as something to notice, not something you have to feel.

The quiet signs count

Progress often shows up as calm, not fireworks. Complete your check-ins honestly so your care team can help personalize your next steps.

Common worries

Don’t panic. Most things are fixable.

Follow the rule for your medication — it’s on your prescription label.

If my medication was left out of the fridge, is it ruined?

Place it back in the refrigerator as soon as possible and contact your Nimbus care team. If it was frozen, leaking, cloudy, discolored, or looks unusual, do not use it until we review it.

I took my shot late. Did I ruin my progress?

You did not ruin your progress. Follow the timing rule for your medication on your prescription label, then return to your regular weekly schedule. If you are unsure, contact Nimbus before guessing.

If I missed a week, should I double my next dose?

Never double your dose. If you miss 2 or more consecutive doses, or you are unsure what to do, contact your Nimbus physician or care team.

Does nausea mean something is wrong?

Mild nausea can happen. Smaller meals, protein first, more whole or minimally processed foods, less fluid during meals, and hydration between meals may help. Contact Nimbus or your personal physician immediately for severe or persistent symptoms that worry you.

Is taking a GLP-1 cheating?

No. This is healthcare. Weight is influenced by biology, hormones, genetics, environment, lifestyle, and medical history. Getting support is not cheating — it is taking care of yourself.
